Writing a full About Me page always ends up being too formal and impersonal, so have some very informal, possibly too personal, factoids instead.

“Rarely Seen Designs” is actually a play on one of my names, which means “a tiny star that is rarely seen.”

My camera roll on my phone is 87% pictures of clouds and mountains and trees to paint later, 11% pictures of my dogs, and 2% memes.

I am weirdly good at ice skating, despite having grown up in absurdly sunny San Diego. I am also strangely good at ping pong and eye-balling circles on sheets of galvanized metal.

I was born less than a kilometer from where my dad was born, in Shiraz, Iran, almost exactly halfway across the globe.
