Petrichor Art Print

$7.00

Another view from my childhood home. The sunsets were always unreal, but this one in particular caught my eye. The color of the sky behind the layers of clouds, and the silhouette of the trees in the foreground is what drew me to paint this. The gradient is always the hardest to capture for me, but this collection of pastel colors was fun to mix. The sky seemed huge, and the clouds were drifting towards us from the ocean, getting larger and more complex as they reached us. Hoping for rain, as always, but these only drizzled on us for a little bit before moving on. It still brought out that amazing smell of rain, petrichor.
