Winter Sun Art Print

$7.00

This is a companion piece to Shadowed Arch, one of a series of three I created for my senior drawing class in college. At the time, I was just figuring out my fascination with light and shadow. It has since transformed into a fascination of light and color, but in this beginning stage I searched for places and photos I had taken that had an interesting relationship with light and dark. I happened to snap a photo through the back windows of my car, while I was parked waiting for a friend in Portland. The clouds had parted just perfectly to frame a huge tree while the sun’s rays peeked through right at the trunk of the tree.

Specs:

5x7 print with ⅛” border on all sides.

Sold with a stiff backing and clear plastic sleeve to protect the print.

Printed on high quality Arctic Polar Satin paper.

Also available as a 5x7 folded card.

Original is charcoal and white chalk pastel on 300lb cold pressed paper, drawn in April 2017.
